This qualification provides an introduction to the skills, qualities and knowledge that may be required for employment in the management sector. The aim of this qualification is to demonstrate a range of technical skills and behaviours that support competence in potential roles in management. This includes skills in leading and managing staff, recruiting and selecting employees, developing and implementing operational plans and more.

Intended for Those wishing to progress in the Leadership and Management Sector
Duration 12 month minimum
Requirements To complete this qualification, candidates must achieve 90 Credits from a choice of units specialising within your service sector.
Delivery In-company programme for individuals and groups
Assessment Observation, discussion, personal statement, supporting documentation, portfolio of evidence, internal assessment and examinations.
Learner support Learning material, all workplace based
Progression Level 5 Higher Apprenticeship in Management and Leadership or job roles such as Manager, Quality, Business Improvement or Area Manager
Fees Funding available subject to eligibility

 

(Level 4 NVQ/QCF) NVQ Diploma in Management - Qualification structure

To achieve the Management full Level 4, learners must complete a minimum of fifty-three credits, of which forty credits must be selected from units at Level 4 or above; seventeen credits must be completed from Group A mandatory units; twenty credits from Group B optional units and the remaining sixteen credits can be achieved from optional units in Groups B and C [a maximum of sixteen credits from group C].

To achieve the Management and Leadership full Level 4, learners must complete a minimum of thirty-seven credits, of which thirty-one credits must be selected from units at Level 4 or above; twenty-six credits must be completed from Group A mandatory units and eleven credits from Group B optional units
