The aim of this qualification is to contribute to the skills, knowledge and overall performance of team leadership. Its purpose is to provide insight in to the principles and process of team leadership and to aid career progression. The Certificate is designed for those who are entering a management role or who wish to gain a qualification that formally recognises their skills or those who lead a team and are responsible for its performance.

Components Diploma in Team Leading Level 2
Functional Skills - Math Level 1, English Level 1 and ICT Level 1
Employment Rights and Responsibilities (ERR) [Can be completed within the combined qualification or through Instructus Skills online ERR Workbook]
Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS) [All have been mapped in to the qualification as part of the apprenticeship]

Intended for Those seeking work in Leadership and those already working in organisations who wish to develop their skills.
Duration 12 month minimum
Requirements To complete this qualification, candidates must achieve 40 Credits from a choice of units specialising within your service sector.
Delivery All workplace based (for individual or groups)
Assessment Observation, discussion, personal statement, supporting documentation, portfolio of evidence, internal assessment and examinations.
Learner support Learning material, optional in-company workshops
Progression BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Management and Leadership or job roles such as Team and Floor Leader, Trainee Supervisor or Call Centre Team Manager/Supervisor

(Level 2 NVQ/QCF) Diploma in Team Leading - Qualification structure

To achieve the Team Leading full Level 2, learners must complete a minimum of forty credits; of which twenty-two credits must be completed from Group A mandatory units; twelve credits from Group B optional units and the remaining six credits can be achieved from optional units in Groups B and C [a maximum of six credits from group C].
