These qualifications are aimed at those seeking work in health and social care with adults and those already working in organisations who wish to further develop their skills. The qualifications are designed to cater for the technical skills, knowledge and understanding required in specific job roles in the Health and Social Care Sector. They also reflect the range and depth of competence in areas in the sector, which allows the learner to develop their own personal growth and engagement.

Requirements To complete this qualification, candidates must achieve 90 Credits from a choice of units specialising within your service sector.

(Level 3 QCF) 90-credit Diploma in Health and Social Care - Qualification structure

To achieve the health and social care full Level 3 qualification, the learner must complete a minimum of ninety credits, of which eighty credits must be achieved at level 3 or above; forty credits must be selected from Group A - Mandatory units and fifty credits from Groups B Optional units [a maximum of ten optional credits can come from other QCF level 3 BTEC units to meet local needs].
