This qualification has been designed to help learners understand aspects of the construction industry and to cover some of the knowledge and practical skills required to work successfully within it. The aim of this qualification is to contribute to the skills, knowledge and overall performance of those working in the service industry. It provides an introduction to some of the key themes within the construction sector, enabling students to develop and apply their knowledge while also acquiring a range of relevant practical, communication and technical construction-related skills.

(Level 1 QCF) Certificate in Construction - Qualification structure

To achieve the Construction Level 1 Certificate, learners must complete a minimum of thirteen credits. The learner must achieve eight credits from Group A units. The remaining five units can be taken from Groups A or B.
